Christy Walker

As the Director of Finance, Christine Walker, CPA, brings over 25 years of extensive financial expertise to Radcliffe Creek School. Having relocated to the Chestertown community in 2023, Christy has a proven track record as a Certified Public Accountant, including two decades as a CFO for small businesses and significant experience working with nonprofit organizations. Her career journey began as the Director of Education at a Southern Illinois science center, where she developed a deep appreciation for experiential learning and a particular passion for supporting children with learning differences.

Christy's robust academic background includes a Master's Degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Museum Studies. This unique combination of a human-centric focus and financial acumen informs her holistic approach to her work. Before joining Radcliffe, she most recently served as the Finance Director and CFO for an accounting firm that supported dozens of small nonprofits, expertly managing their financial operations and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. In addition to her professional roles, Christy has served on nonprofit boards, where she contributed to both daily financial operations and long-term strategic planning. She is excited to apply her skills and passion to support Radcliffe's mission through strong and thoughtful financial leadership.
