Hannah Belote
Hannah Belote is a dedicated and compassionate Literature and Language Arts Teacher with nearly a decade of experience supporting neurodivergent children, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) since 2022, she brings extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis to her classroom, where she leverages her certifications in the Visualizing and Verbalizing (VV) and Orton-Gillingham programs to create inclusive and engaging learning environments. Hannah holds an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Pima Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona.
Hannah's career journey showcases a deep commitment to serving individuals with developmental differences. She began her work in Arizona as a direct care worker, progressing through roles as a Job Coach, Employment Instructor, and Care Coordinator, where she managed over 30 individual cases and helped run programs for adolescents and young adults. Her passion for helping others fueled a professional and personal transition to Maryland, where she continues her work with children.
As a passionate advocate for individuals with disabilities, Hannah is known for her empathetic, person-centered approach to teaching. She stays current on research in behavioral science, education, and communication disorders by attending workshops and webinars. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, taking road trips, and exploring the sights of Maryland and the surrounding states.
