Amy Thomas Tasman

Amy Thomas Tasman is a pediatric occupational therapist with over a decade of experience dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential. She earned her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University's College of Rehabilitation Sciences, establishing a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques. Amy's expertise lies in supporting children facing developmental challenges such as Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and sensory processing difficulties. Her most recent experience involved providing early intervention services for pre-kindergarten children in her local county.

Adopting a holistic approach, Amy creates engaging and meaningful therapy experiences tailored to the needs of each child. She considers the child's environment, family routines, and other influencing factors to foster independence in self-care, improve fine motor skills and coordination, and enhance visual motor and perceptual skills. Amy places a high value on collaborating with families, working side-by-side with them to achieve each child's unique goals.

Recently returning to Maryland's Eastern Shore after raising her three children in the Philadelphia suburbs, Amy is excited to reconnect with the community and continue her passion for working with children. In her free time, she enjoys visiting her grown children, spending time with family and friends, hiking, camping, reading, and engaging in arts and crafts.
