Malorie Martinez

Malorie Martinez is a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist and Department Head who has been a cherished member of the Radcliffe Creek School community since 1999. Her passion for understanding and using language in the classroom, along with her commitment to neurodiversity-affirming instruction, drives her work with students. Malorie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The College of William and Mary and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Her comprehensive training includes Orton-Gillingham Plus, Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing (LiPS), and Visualizing and Verbalizing, ensuring a multi-faceted and effective approach to her practice.


Beyond her degrees, Malorie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Maryland State License in Speech-Language Pathology. Her dedication to professional growth is evidenced by her two ASHA ACE Awards, recognizing her commitment by completing over 75 hours of continuing education. She has also shared her expertise through faculty workshops on auditory processing and memory and has been featured on local public radio. Malorie's personal interests include spending time with her family, swimming with a local Masters team, and playing oboe and saxophone in community music groups.
