Director of Advancement
Working closely with the Head of School, the Board of Trustees, and the newly established Advancement Committee, the Director of Advancement provides leadership, planning, and execution of fundraising initiatives to build a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the school and wider community.

Working closely with the Head of School, the Board of Trustees, and the newly established Advancement Committee, the Director of Advancement provides leadership, planning, and execution of fundraising initiatives to build a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the school and wider community.

The successful candidate will enhance existing relationships while building new connections, systems, and programs that further tap into the generosity and resources of the community. The goal of the Director is to design and implement giving programs that attract the maximum contributions possible to Radcliffe Creek School through donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship; building strong relationships with alumni, trustees, supporters, and the broader philanthropic community; and crafting and submitting grant proposals to foundation, corporate, and government prospects.

This is potentially a full-time position and the Director serves as a member of the Administrative team; for the right candidate it could also be structured as a part-time position.
​

Qualification Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
4+ years fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector
-
Independent school experience preferred
-
Proven success in directly soliciting and closing charitable gifts
-
Passionate about working with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds
-
Superior knowledge of fundraising data software and database management software, especially using Raiser’s Edge
-
Demonstrated success working with and motivating volunteers and staff members
-
Familiarity and comfort with the local community
